Hey guys.
I've gotten a problem while running facebook ads. 1 month ago I was running my ads spending around 1.000$ per day, however my account got paused because of "unusual activity".
Howeever, I got my account recovered and now the last week when I've been trying to run the same or new campaigns my CPC has increased with more than 300%.

That means my ROI has been lowered by a significant amount, actually that much thats its not really worth running these campaigns for me anymore.

Anyone else having these kind of experiences or any tips on how to lower my cpc?
(Doing "Pay per click" in nordic countries, mainly SE, Dk, FI and NO)
I've tried to change image and text, but still the same results. Cpc's around 0.4$ where I had them around 0.1$ before the account got paused.

Do we have any facebook expert here who could help me out?

I have those problems mostly in the beginning when the ad doesn't have that much likes/shares/comments. Have you tried putting in some different keywords?

I've tried to re-launch the already existing ads and also having new ads running around for almost 1-2 weeks. No changes, still the higher CPC.

I've tried targeting different ages, interests and so on. Even tried without any interests at all. But still the high CPC :/

If your CTR has dropped, that can also be a reason for an increase in CPC. I suppose you are doing those CC submits which people are scared to enter.

Are you sure on this?
The account has been recovered 2-3 times, yet this is the first time I see a increased CPC :)

i think what you just said is not true.

a decent post, description, and good engagement rate is the key to low cpc...

test a few ads @op, make the engagement rate high as possible and make a 'decent' post that facebook users and facebook will like.
that's the thing for low cpc. (a good post & high engagement rate)
