Hello guys recently i'm creating my ads on facebook ads because i want to try it.

i see two difference area here: one called optimized for clicks and one optimized for cpm.

so if i chose optimized for clicks it means im not going to pay unless the user click my ads?

i mean it doesnt matter if my ads show up to 5000 users if no one click then im not going to pay?

Yes, in that case you are going to pay for clicks. However, I believe for most things, oCPM would be cheaper in long run, depends how good engagement your ad is getting.

if your ad is shown to 5,000 people and then at 5,001 one guy clicks it theyre probably going to charge you like $20 for that click
