Has it ever happened to you that when you edit your page you don't see any changes to it?
A lot of customers are contacting me with that problem. They think that they didn't changed it like they need to, or they think that there is problem with landing page.

But no, problem is with Cache.

What is Web cache?
A web cache (or HTTP cache) is an information technology for the temporary storage (caching) of web documents, such as HTML pages and images, to reduce server lag. A web cache system stores copies of documents passing through it; subsequent requests may be satisfied from the cache if certain conditions are met.[1] A web cache system can refer either to an appliance, or to a computer program.

Usually, we are facing with two types of that "problem".

It can be because of CloudFlare, or it can be because of some Cache Walls on Web Host.

If you are using CloudFlare you need to enable Development Mode, following this instructions:

Enabling development mode

If you need to temporarily suspend Cloudflare’s caching and optimization features, you’ll want to to enable development mode. Development mode is useful if you are making changes to cacheable content and need to see these changes immediately.

To enable Development Mode, scroll down on the 'Cache' page to the section titled 'Development Mode'. Toggle the On/Off option to enable.

  • Development mode lasts 3 hours and automatically turns off unless you manually turn it on again.

  • Development mode does not clear your cache – it just suspends it for 3 hours.

Cache Walls - Web Host

What you need to do is that you need to turn of Cache Walls on your web host.
In this example I am using KnownSrv web host, but you can follow same steps on other web hosts.

First you need to search word "cache" on your Web Host

Then you need to set it as off for following domain that you are facing "problems"

Feel free to contact me about problems with landing pages, web hosting, domains  Cool

Adding a query string parameter with an unused value also triggers the browser to download the latest version of a file so that you don't have to force your customers to refresh their cache.

Something like:

Code:
https://domain.com/library.js?v=2

The browser would recognise this as a new file and refresh the cache of it.
