Hi CPAElites,

I have some questions about SEO&Domains
Let's say I want to create site that is related to pc gaming. Should I buy new domain or buy aged expired domain? Does that aged domain will help to rank my site?
If I use SEO tools like GSA SER is that blackhat?

That depends mainly of the domain, be werry careful when you are buying domains as most sellers sell them becaues it has been penalisedor even with negative pr.
I suggest you create a new domain for a clean start , as you willnever know all the backlinks form the aged domain which may hurt your site.
Don't worrie about EMD you can simply make links containing your kw with wordpress.
Hope it helped

I'd say go with a fresh and clean domain.

You should do both: Buy some expired domains and redirect them with 301 to your new domain.

If you could find some old expired domains which had blogs about your niche or similar, then try to reactivate them with some content and links to your new domain. You can check the previous content at archive.org.

After Google Penguin, its risky if you don't know what you are doing. You can easily be shooting yourself in the foot by redirecting from penalized sites.

Before you buy an expired domain, run it through http://www.opensiteexplorer.com and see where the backlinks are coming from and with what anchor text.

If there are a lot of spammy links/anchors, the domain was most likely dropped because it was deindexed by G.

I have assumed that everbody would check the details about every expired domain. The standard expired domain provider would offer details about the status of each domain. So everybody could easily see if it was banned, if it is still indexed etc.

I do recommend the additional use of the free version of Majecstic SEO to check the backlinks.
