Do you go to the gym/exercise?

Keen to know, how many of you actually have the time to work out/exercise?

As I work from home, I find it vital that I go to the gym at least 4/5 times a week. I stick to a strict routine, I get up at 8AM every day, and work from around 8:30am until roughly 7pm. I then go to the gym until around 9pm and get back and watch TV until around 10:30pm, then the cycle continues.

I also work weekends, I don't really get time to myself, which is why I choose to go to the gym quite frequently. I believe it's needed for some stability/balance or I'd eventually lose my mind lol.

How about you guys/girls?

Thats a good routine mate congrats for sticking to it! I started up the gym again a month or so ago but havent been going as much because my day job is scheduled at alternating shifts throughout the week (some days 8am-4pm, some days 1pm-10pm) which makes it hard to get a solid routine down. I definitely would like to start going more though. What sort of workout routine do you follow?

It's hard to keep motivated from home, you know you could always slack off and nobody would tell you otherwise. But I'm quite strict with what I can/can't do nowadays. I may allow myself a Friday night out or so, just to keep my mind sane lol.

I currently work:
Chest/triceps - monday
Shoulders/abs - tuesday
Biceps/forearms - wednesday
Legs/stomach - friday
Back - saturday

My two rest days I may go for a run, but at the moment I'm looking at bulking so I'm not doing too much cardio!

I haven't had a real workout since like September 2014. I've been sitting down for like 12 hours a day. Sleeping for another 12 hours the last 8 months. I need to hit the gym soon. I shall start a routine like yours. I blame the weather in my area. It's too damn cold and snowy most of the year.

It'll be hard to get in to the routine, but once you've gone through it solid for around 2/3 weeks, it starts to just become a habit. If you miss a day, it doesn't feel right whatsoever. Once you see improvements, you'll thank yourself that you started! You could even download an app on your smartphone, I have a 30 day challenge one on my iPhone just in case I ever want to workout on my days off.

I'm weight training for year and half already. Before that I trained taekwondo for 8 years and have a black belt.

Since I'm working IM full time my schedule is like this: Get up at around 10.30am, eat, go to a gym at around 12.00pm and stay there until 2.00pm, then work IM for whole day with taking breaks for eating, relaxing, hanging out etc. until I went to sleep at around 2 or 3am. Weird schedule but since I don't have full time job and working for myself I organize it how I like xD

This is my gym workout routine:

Mon: Chest and biceps
Tue: Legs
Wed: Shoulders and triceps
Thu: Back and abs
Fri: Rest
Sat: Whole body
Sun: Rest

Sometimes I train Mon to Fri and then take 2 days of rest, and sometimes train Mon and Tue, then Wed resting, then workout from Thu and Fri, then 2 days rest. Always changing schedule because as Arnold Schwarzenegger said: "You need to shock your muscles to not know them what they expect" :)

Look here :)

Best,
Sizif

Yeah, of course. At first i was kinda lazy, but now it became lifestyle. :D I'm into weight training for 4 months already, and i wouldn't quit for anything now, it's the best decision i made. :D

I have 2 workouts which i mix, like one week 1 plan, week 2 another and i mix it like that, but i never do the same exercises on 2 workouts. I'm hitting chest and back twice a week. :)

It would be cool if you guys say your bench, dead lift, squat.

BP: Currently doing sets with 82kg/180lbs(5 sets 8/10 reps), i can probably lift around 95kg once.
DL: I made a pause with DL those days, but last time i did it was around 110kg/242lbs.
SQ: Squat is my weak point, since to be honest i have the habit of skipping leg day:D, last time i did it was with around 70kg :D

My stats:
BP: Doing reps with 80kg. I can lift 100kg (220lbs) one time (barely).
DL: Can lift 330lbs (150kg) once.
SQ: Same as DL
