Do "legal" things ever work?

Hi Guys

I have been looking at my experience so far in this IM thing. By experience I count from the day I started making money. Its been 2 years and the truth is I have never made a penny promoting things the straight way. Let me explain, Its either;

a) I am misleading people,
b) using some kind of trickery,
c) whatever that I am doing the traffic network frowns at it.
d) any combination or all of the above

It even seems that the more you combine a,b,c & d the bigger the profits

It leaves me with 1 question. Is it even possible to promote any CPA offer without using some kind shenanigans or without trying to gain the system somewhere?
