Hello guys! I hope you're doing well.  Wink

I'm about to buy a dog(never had before) and I'd like to hear your opinion about having a dog, how it changed your life and stuff like this.

That's the breed I wanna buy. It's called Shiba Inu and they come from Japan.

I'm not a dog type of guy. I prefer birds, but some dogs do be cute though.

Having a dog is almost like taking care of another human being if I'm not mistaken (financially also), so the commitment is very serious.

Oh, I'm sorry for you, mate. It's difficult. At least, you had happy moments with her.

"commitment"  ... this is so true!
But fine with me.

I have 2 poodles (male & female) and a shih tzu (male).
My shih tzu is our very intelligent guard dog and is stationed in the backyard.  Grin

My poodles are inside the house.

Once a year, we sell poodle puppies at about $150 each here in our country.
Even with 3 to 5 pups, the proceeds cannot even recover the cost of dog food for the year.
But it does pay-off with pride when you see it being cared for by their new owners.

I have a Maltese:

Bit older here:

He's got so much character and is amazing with kids, the Maltese sleep a lot but when awake are pretty active.
His name is Buster and he is literally family to us, we all love him, the Maltese live until 15+ so have longevity too.

Yep. I have one. Her name is Acantha

It's a siberian husky. Very friendly, adorable and requires a lot of physical activities. Im walking her for 1-2 hrs everyday.
