Do TLD domains like ".com.bg", ".com.ec" rank at all with Google?

I have access to a lot of domains that are not ".com", but like:
.com.ec
.com.uy
etc

Even though it's visually unappealing, I can get a ton of keyword rich domains of these.
Is it even worth it?

So pros:
-I can get a lot of keyword rich domains
-Almost free for me.

Cons:
not .com obviously.

I'm thinking that they might rank well with a localized google search, but not for a "google.com" search.

Any thoughts?

These are subdomains. They dont rank that well as a .com! Subdomains generally dont rank well. .com can be used to rank well.

Hi there. Thanks for replying.
Actually they are not subdomains, they are country specific TLD domains.

You're correct that they are not subdomains, but they are also not TLDs. Country code TLDs are .fr .au .uk etc, what you have listed are secondary level domains.

As the members above stated they are not TLD domains, form an seo stand of point they are allmoust worthless, there are a lot of domain extentions popping up these days like .pw .ws .mobi etc hopeing for another .com bubble which will never happen, people tend to forget that google runs the game at the moment the high priority domains are .com .gov/edu .region (fr, in etc) .info and .org and .net all other domain extentions are worthless even if they are EMD ...

Thanks for the advice guys. And yes, you are also right about the domains, they are second level domains, not TLD.

Guess I have to shell out some cash and buy some multiniche .com then!
