Current state of SEO?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my current situation. I've been in IM for about 7 months at this point, i've made about $900+. I got most of that from ranking on a particular 60,000s/m keyword. I lost rankings after 2 months and took a massive hit to my $/day. I've been trying ever since to rank anything anywhere, with 0 luck. I've tried everything that's publicly available: tiers, c&b, pbn juice...you name it, i'll tell you if I've tried it.

And I haven't been able to rank shit. Is it just me? Or is SEO just this bad all over? I've used many different platforms..I really don't know what to try now. I don't really know what to do. What do you guys think?

I cant answer your questions but you cant say that SEO is bad all over. After all, there are number1 spots in the niche you are trying to rank for.

You are failing because of some/all of these:

1. You are going after hard keywords (or keywords that are just out of your budget) (90% of people do this because they don't know how to judge competition)
2. SEO nowadays takes much more time then before, so you are too impatient, is a waiting game
3. You are not using enough of whatever (i.e. if you are using PBN's as your power links, you are expecting to buy 10 PBN posts and rank, then wonder why you failed)

You should think again, SEO is not bad at all. You are using SEO but you need to make sure you are using it in the correct way or not? Your site is new or old, if it is new then don't worry, it will take sometime to get ranked. You have used an SEO service, but also check the design of the website sometime it might make crawling and indexing difficult. There also can be a content previously hosted on a domain name is causing issues, also make sure anyone else had not have access to your website.

A proper keyword research, a little knowledge with seo and a huge amount of patience will do. :)

What I've learned from SEO if you really want to stay at the top for a very long time? Keep your links natural and HQ. :) That's all :)

Kind Regards,

We've all been there.

What I suggest you do is try to setup a site to rank a non-competitive keyword.

This will let you test out a few different strategies and see what works.

Finally, don't feel afraid to abandon a project. If somethings not working after several months, move on to another method.
