Hi All,

A new ransomware - Cryptolocker - It will encrypt all your files and no one has been able to reverse the encryption as of yet.

This is apparently the ultimate malware/virus that really can destroy all your files unless U pay a $300 ranson.

This is for real, not like others that could just be deleted from your computer.

Check up on google and youtube to find out about it.

I know this is not a virus/malware forum but, everyone, everywhere needs to know about this.

Backups definitely need to be done daily for sure now, but not a backup drive connected to your machine, those files will be encrypted also..

Good Luck...!!

Just be carefull with running stuff, if you dont trust it run it in an vmware or sandboxie first.

I work IT at a small hospital and surrounding clinics. Last week one of our staff caught me as I was walking through the that morning telling me something was wrong w/her workstation--Cryptolocker! I have been into IT for some years now (mostly on the darker side). I have never seen anything like this! With the exception of Stuxnet. This ransomware is amazing advanced. performed full aes encryption of everything this woman had permissions too, even across three domains and through two of our vpn's. This is a government sponsored project. I may be crazy, but I do believe it was sponsored in a big way by the us criminal elements of the government. Everyone of the co-op of 18 hospitals that the one I work at is a member of has experienced this. I know of several other hospitals in different states (all in very rural areas) that have gotten it too. And to think that every American citizen has to be registered for Obama Care by years end... as of my writting this, in my state, there have only been 8 people that have successfully registered! Unfortunately for them, the database that holds their sensitive info has (or had) absolutely no security in place. Now put all that together with 'Sustainable Development' -- formally named U.N. Agenda 21.

Yeah this looks like a horrible piece of malware. It's genius, however. Just make sure you are careful with what you are downloading, and have a nice secure machine! :)

1. No porn sites
2. Don't go to unknown websites.
3. Do not open .exe files nor freebies.
