Crappy niche

I have what I feel to be a decent niche. I get tons of views and clicks a day but nothing converts to an actual lead. How can I really tell if my niche is garbage or not?

you can tell it by looking up how many searches are made by users per month

it depends on your competition. if you find a niche with 2000 searches/month and 0 competition you can earn with 2000 people per month..that would be good. if you got 1 competitor.. he will get 1000 of them and you will get 1000 (depends on the quality of your site, maybe your get 1500 and he 500). 600searches per month could also be good for a niche if your competition is very low

Promote something that people are willing to do an action (for example CPA offer) to get something you are promoting.

Stupid example:
1. Niches that are targeting stuff like funny pics, memes, recipes etc Very low incentive for them to do an action because stuff is free and widely available.
2. Niches that are targeting some problem that people have or their passion. They would mostly not have a problem doing something small in return.

How would I know if there's competition or not?

Thanks that makes alot of sense. Honestly I've been doing #1 instead of driving them in by passion or something they feel they really need.

I've got one that i'm testing now. Put up a fanpage, lander, & a youtube video. I'll see how it goes.

He asked on something different. Since he has a lot of views and clicks. You talk about volume, he talk about quality :P

To OP. Check google trends. Most accurate is when competitors use bit.ly or goo.gl links and check stats from which countries clicks come.
