Hey everyone just a quick question,

Over the christmas time (talking now till around new years day) do you think earnings will be higher or lower than usual?

I know christmas day and new years eve will most likely be low but what about the time as a whole?

Just wondering as i'm trying to decide on how much money to invest over this period Wink

Thanks in advance,

Aidan

Honestly I don't know.
I would say that a "win iPhone 5s" or "win beats by dre" survey would convert better now with the holidays, but from the other side I think people are now rushing to stores to buy gifts, spent time with their family, etc.

I'd wait till 1th of januar and make niches depending on people's good intentions for 2014 :)

A lot of iPods/iPhones sell at Christmas, it's one of the best selling items in the season. I think conversions for free iphones/ipods may drop, I can't say for sure though.

Depends on the niche, as TheVBScripter said, if it's some product giveaway such as iphone 5s, PS3, Xbox One or whatever then it could be good. But if it's hacking niches etc, I think earnings will be lower because people are rushing to buy christmas presents for their family, and spending time with them.

I think fake niches will bring in less cash as people will be celebrating and not hacking! :) But giveaway offers may convert well for you.

I expect slow down on the holidays (25th-26th Dec and 1st-2nd January) and then huge spike since people will be getting new phones, consoles, etc, but first they are going to play the basic games that come in the package with the consoles and won't bother with our hacks. Then, in January we should be able to score something like 15%-20% increase in earnings.

It depends.

You can see your earnings going down if you have niches like "hacks" or something, but if you are giving free clothes or free christmas gifts, blablabla, you'll probably earn more.

it will depend i agree. christmas tv shows will be a hit but the freebies will not as a user will get their freebie fix from christmas presents.

I notice that some countries can be down more than others around the Holidays, but once everything is over with there is always an increase and things go back to normal.

January is always a good month for me.

Exactly my thoughts. So many new gadgets will connect to the web. Think of all the people who still have basic phones without internet that will upgrade. Or the people just getting personal computers, now able to search for things at home instead of the library. And of course all the teens finally getting the consoles and new games they've wanted will be looking for ways to cheat/hack them. Just my 2 cents.
