So, I need to learn some java coding, but unfortunately I am not even able to install JDK and JRE so that I can use Eclipse.

I tried to install the last java kit, but it hangs at some point and doesnt go forward.
I also tried to install an older version (7) and I noticed that it stucks on "Registering Java Runtime Environment".

I'm pretty sure someone around here knows what I'm talking about and can help me. I googled it, but couldnt find any solutions...

help? :(

Have you tried NetBeans?
Before installing it make sure to uninstall any java SDK/ Eclipse from your system, also make sure to have a working internet connection.

I am not so sure but both the versions that is JDE and Eclipse or netbeans should have same bits like 32 or 64 both of them
It can not be 32 for one and 64 for other. If you were trying to install 64bit check if the installer is not corrupted re download it from the official site with latest version. Check if your system supports 64bits. Commonly 32bit are used.
