I opened a little drop shipping shop on ebay and I am curious if I need to worry about taxes come next year when I file them...

Where do I go from here to get info about this and what not...?

In Canada, at least in Ontario, you can earn up to $30,000 from your business if you're an unregistered self-employed person. After that, you have to get licensed and charge and submit HST or other provincial/federal tax.

If you have a GST number (a registered biz) then you definitely need to charge and submit taxes.

Regardless of your legal status, you have to report your income on your taxes and also pay your CPP contributions.

If you earn more than the individual self-employed earning than you need to pay taxes.
