Campaign Fails!

What's up guys!

So the main question is: What do you do when a campaign of your fails?

So basically every marketer faces campaign fails. What do you do to improve your results? What do you do when.
With campaign fails i mean.

Fail to drive traffic
Too high cost
Too less traffic
Low Epc
Low CR
Low CTR

When i fail to drive enough traffic i usually optimized the media and the caption with the posts. Or even scale amount of sources which are driving traffic

With too high cost i try to optimize the epc,cr,ctr.

Low epc i usually optimize content locking or even the offers.
Low CR i optimize the landing pages. Or the content locker text
Low CTR i otpmize the landing pages.

First thing I do is pause the campaign while I figure out the problem. If I'm trying out a new method or traffic source, I may have to do a bit of reading/research to see where I went wrong, so I can fix it.

I ran a Bing campaign quite a while ago. Had excellent quality score (9/10) but one of the keywords came in at $3 per click before I noticed - yikes! So, I paused it, as I always do but before I figured out how to lower my cpc, the offer got paused. :) Never did figure out what happened there.

If I know my traffic source has good volume but I'm getting very little traffic, I investigate to see if my parameters - geos/kws/whatever are too narrowly focused. I'll start to expand one thing at a time usually, to see where the bottleneck is.

Low CR, I will try switching or testing ads.

If I have high CTR but low/no conversions, I sometimes attribute those to the offer's lander. That's when they drop off.

Basically if it is facebook or adword campaign I pause my campaign and implement a new method or totally stop it. I have a backup campaign ready already everytime.
