I get alot of emails regarding users not able to open my .exe due to .net framework. I have selected .net 2.0 in VB 2010.

What would be the best solution to make something as simple as this

You'll have to program it in C++, then it won't require a framework. You can give it a shot with Visual Basic 6 as well.

I actually checked your thread out once before. But call me spoiled, I'm use to the VB GUI and everything. I'll have to try your tutorial out again.

Just code in it VB.net 2.0, that way your users will not need .NET 2.5 or higher.
Codes should be similar and still work.

Would that be the same as Visual Basic 2005?

In Visual Basic 2010, I did set it to compile as 2.0 and works fine on machines without 3.0+ .

Tbh if your users complain of getting an error relating to them not having .net 2.0 framework there only 2 real solutions to your problem.
1) Redo the program in Java which will allow all platforms to run it.
2) (This is a bit harsh tbh) Tell your users to buy a real computer as you can and will not tailor to the needs of minorities

Know any Java programmers? For cheap? I don't need some extravagant program. Just something like I posted.
