Has any of you tried putting background music on your landing pages?
Did you notice a difference in impressions/leads?

I never tried it, but my personal experiences are that music on a website is REALLY annoying.
So I think it would rather decrease your cr.

I'm curous about what others think.

I hate when i hear music on website, especially when there is no option to turn it off.

I don't recommend doing that at all.
Will only decrease the CR, since people are not expecting music at all, and will come quite as a shock.

You shouldn't put background music on your landing pages, you don't know what kind of music that the visitors like, and they event disturb them.

I also consider that adding music to your website would make more harm than good, because it will make your website look like those landing pages promoted via PTC and GPT websites. Everytime I hear a persuasive voice saying something like "Hi, Billy Maze here with an amazing offer for you", I'm just closing the window no matter what they're trying to pitch me.
Make sure you don't annoy your potential clients too much or they will leave. Just think what would determine you or somebody you know well to buy products from a landing page and test them on a dummy website to see how it goes. Chances are that what convinces you to buy stuff will convince also the others.

Dont use music on landing pages. People get annoyed especially when they are looking to download something.

I haven't tried this, but I would imagine it would only lower the conversion rate. People hate music playing without their permission. That goes for any site really.
