Do you feel bad about it?

Probably at some point, for some people in this forum (including me), have crossed path with the thought about feeling bad about promoting black hat content such as game cheats and generators where majority of the new comers start with.

For me, I actually feel neutral about it. I don't feel bad about it and at the same time, I also don't think its good.

People have unreasonable expectations. That is why a lot of marketers have to go blackhat. Sometimes it is impossible to satisfy the wants of an audience so you have to give them that free iphone offer. I have tried a lot of times to go fully whitehat, but it simply doesn't work (at least for me, maybe the veterans can make it work)

Yeah I actually thought about that yesterday. I go into my WP admin and check the comments and I always see stuff like: "I completed all of the steps and did the subscription on my phone and I didn't get my gems in 'x'". I provide a guide how to get them faster but I still feel bad especially if they pay real money from a pin submit for them, but it's up to them to do that, nobody is forcing anybody to complete the offer, it's 100% their decision.

However I'm going to try to go complete whitehat by being a 100% honest 'game cheats' brand which would be better. Whitehat everything is the way to go, for longterm business and having people coming back to your website or brand is the key to success in my opinion. BH CPA is kinda short term although it may last for a while more, it may always keep it's potential since there's a gap there.

I try not to feel bad about it though and keep working on new things.

If you're good enough, nobody is stopping you!

...and I fully agree with you when you said "as long as we earn money from it"

Yes, I see it this way:

People who play by the rules are always getting pwned in the butt by the rules itself and the rule-breakers.

I always said this... someone searches to scam a games company, then he gets taught a lesson by a CPA marketer. Ask yourself, who's really the one in the wrong.

I started with content locking back in 2013 and at first I was doing fake game hacks/cheats on Youtube. After I cracked it, I got really bored and actually did start feeling bad, by not giving people anything and I thought "What am I doing with my life, cheating little kids to make money"... Also what got me was that I didn't feel like I could tell people what I was doing..

At some point I doing SEO and banking off emulator keywords and other things, that you could get for free. There I actually gave people what they wanted, which in the end really helped in bringing traffic through word of mouth.

I was making a lot of money, but I never felt like I was successful.

Now for the past 3 years, I have been running CPA and my own offers on paid traffic. I have since never looked back and learned a lot more essential marketing knowledge than from running fake game hacks.

Im not sure why most people are still running content locking on IG etc, when a lot of the "niches" people use, actually have offers you could run and make a lot more money, while not necessarily "scamming" people

Would you mind sharing what you mean by 'running your own offer'

Do you have your own product?
