Hello again guys :)

I'm still reading about paid ads on Facebook for my CPA page but I want to ask you for advice which can be useful while creating the campaign.

How to create good target group (age, country, hobbies)?
What budget would be good for the first time?
How long should I keep my first test campaign?

Thank you for advice! :)

Everything you wrote is the easiest part of doing Facebook ads. You'd have to test all of that yourself, depending on your niche and who you would like to target. I'd say $5 or more per campaign for split testing. I'd keep it for a day, but you could wait 2-3 days.

The hardest part is getting passed Facebook ads and having your ad stay live and not getting blocked by Facebook. If you are using a fake account, it's going to be somewhat difficult.

You're right. I tried with my first test campaign (budget 10$) and it has zero efficiency. I got 2,5k view, something about 35 click but with no leads from these countries.

Maybe I gonna try to make another test campaign but with more planning and optimization.

Well Facebook ads are terrible when becomes to "pay-per-click". Facebook is full of bots so, 80% of the clicks u will gain with this kind of ADS come from bots so, u will get views but the most part will come from bots. No away u will actually gain somw "real" views, waste of money.

I will have to disagree with it. I have good results with Facebook Ads Pay per click module.

As far as bots traffic is concerned, you need a fraud click detection service to avoid such false clicks.

ofc m8, it's your opinion and i respect it. But tell me more about that "fraud click detention". What's that ? Never hear it.

Yes there are bot clicks on FB, there are bot clicks on basically every ad platform.
A cloaker would filter out these bots most of the times.

On topic:
If you are starting out with FB Ads I would suggest running aomething simple like clash of clans and check results on that
Once you get a grip with FB you can then scale up and do more sophisticated, less known niches campaigns.

Be prepared to lose some money at the start!

Also, 5-10$/day can be perfect to start with.

How to create good target group (age, country, hobbies)?
A: It depends on your liking and budget. For just testing the waters, choose tier2-3 to get cheaper clicks/rpm.
What budget would be good for the first time?
A: $5 a day at the beginning would suffice in order for you to get the feel and that's just enough.
How long should I keep my first test campaign?
A: 1-2 day
