Ads vs. Crypto Miners

So i was wondering what are your thoughts on using ads versus crypto cpu miners on your websites to generate revenue.
Most people don't like ads and have adblockers so mining coins seems like a good way to earn some while having a clean design.
Anyone using?

Many AV detect as a virus the crypto mining and this will be something negative for your website. Well, this is only my humble opinion.

I was thinking, if they detect only the most used versions, that would mean writing your own miner would be a good undetectable solution.
Seems like a less evasive system than those ads, say use only 30% of available cpu power or something like that...
