A very stressful day!

This is the worst day ever! My external harddrive where all of my important files are kept is unreachable by my computer, then I have downloaded a f*cking software that says that it can help. After I download it and asked to restart my pc, my pc is stuck on the windows loading logo. This is totally stressful! I lost two of the most important things in my life! OMG!

Kind Regards,
CapsLuck

Im almost sure that you can still retrieve those files .. Since I dont understand about this topic I would recommend you contact a friend , somebody here that understands about this part and might be able to recover your files . Next time consider backing up your files

I think your computer problem being stuck can still be fixed, and then you can solve the external harddrive problem. try booting up from a repair disc. What OS are you using?

I always store everything important on a cloud server for quick and easy access. And also on an external just in case.

I already reformat my laptop, I'm using Windows 7.

It also doesn't open on other laptops, I have 4 laptops, and it doesn't work on all of them, but if I insert the usb on my TV it works well. I can watch movies on my TV, so it means the harddrive is not totally wreck.

Find another PC and plug in your ext hdd there, your files are safe for sure, it's just your PC which is fucked up.
